Chapter 1

It was then, I realize. I should never have them both. Yeah, it was a funny thing to think about. Memories are just memories. Aren’t they? Maybe…I should just hope things may get even better as days pass by… even though tears wins my heart all the time. I can never guess a feeling I had never had before. It may be hard to imagine…

It can never be…

I always hear humors and ‘hear-says’ of such topic. “Rio’s got a boyfriend!” Miki and Kenny exclaimed happily with tease. Yeah, it was kind of irritating in my side. I just hate relationships.
“Will you please just stop it?” I shouted then started to stand.
“Well, if it’s not true, you’ll never get hurt…isn’t it?” laughing as Miki places her bag beside Kenny’s Chair.
“Yeah… I agree with that! Give me five Miki.” Kenny agrees.

These are my friends, Miki and Kenny. We were close friends since elementary, then in junior high up to now. We’re now in fourth year high school and are about to graduate. I’m feed up with them actually.

I just stared at them. I can’t just get mad. Besides, it was just a joke I know they were making up. If someone gets mad, it will be like you’re saying,
‘I agree!’ Right? Luckily, our teacher just came in right on time. Saved again. It was recess time then after that subject. We were having snacks at the canteen when Kenny grinned and opened up a topic, guess what?

“Yeah Rio… back to the topic.” “Oh dear…”
“I still want to see you have your own boyfriend.”
“I agree…Oh I wish to see you with that man. I can see how glamorous his smile is…”
“What’s the matter with you two?! You seemed to be so interested in such stuffs. Why don’t you get your own boyfriend, as if you’re trying to decide for my future relationship…?”
“It’s not that Rio. Look, you’re perfect. You’ve got the looks, the brain, you’re obviously sexy, every guy here admires you and you’re family gains well. All you need is a man that will love you. Why don’t you wish for someone like that? It’s what every girl wishes to have. But you? You don’t seem to care…”
“That’s because…”
“You just hated guys…” Miki and Kenny continued my interrupted conversation.
“Right? We just wanted to help. Think about it Rio. Cause’ whenever there’s a guy who’s in your way, they’re busted okay?” Miki explained and started to stand.
“Okay, alright. I’ll try…” I sighed trying to ignore them.

After our last subject, Miki and Kenny were on their way home. “Maybe they’re not home yet.” talked to my self again, since mom and dad had their work at the company right now.

“Hope their okay this time.” I was walking home when I thought of what Kenny and Miki said a while ago.

It was just too unconvincing. I was just too disgusted about men. I can’t let them decide for me. I know my parents aren’t here to guide me in such things, but I know I can handle this out. Looking at the bright side, they were correct. But I should concentrate on my studies right now. Besides, I’m still a student having a long way to go. My thoughts were cut when somebody bump me,

“Hey! Watch where you’re going. Damn it!” I shouted as if I want to punch him.
“I’m so sorry. I was in a hurry lately.”
“Sorry?! Yeah right. What now?! Sorry can do nothing!” as I picked up my things.
“Let me help you out…” he bowed and picked some of my things. Then accidentally touched my hand, I was stunned, shocked and intense but anger and displeasure arose in me, giving me an action of slapping him.
“How dare you?! Bastard!”
Stand, mumbled some words went on my way, I stumped. He was just too pathetic. I hated him. It was no good. Not good at all.

As I reach home, alone again. But it’s okay with me, I understand my parents…since I was still 7. I placed my things on the table, cooked some noodles and ate some sushi. They were my favorite…My favorite. I sat on the table and there it is again. It gave me a headache. I haven’t notice, I was thinking of it all the time. That guy, that guy gave me a headache. He ache me, is he? Or it’s just me….
“Gaaahhhh…”

I drank and went to my room.
“It was him… when I will see that guy again, he will see! Curse you bastard!”

That evening, it was funny. But I was not able to sleep well. To sleep well…I wasn’t able to sleep well…

I was walking to school that morning, unable to speak so good, as if my eyes were about to fall.
“Hey Rio, wait up!” Kenny exclaimed running towards me. I just looked back then looked front. It was like there were thorns on my neck.
“Hey, what happened? You seem so sick? You were up to something?”
“No! Except for that guy over there. Just don’t have his way mistaken or else, his dead!” I was screaming.
“What?!! Don’t tell me you’re…” she screamed, she hugged me and exclaimed
“Thank goodness Rio, you’re up to it!”
“What’s up to it?! It was not funny, not good, he’s stupid. He’s a bastard. Damn it!”
“…Why? What happened? Is there something wrong?”
“Everything’s wrong. Wait ’til I see him. I’ll surely get him knocked down…” I covered my fist with terror.
“Okay-okay….Tell me the whole story.”
“Fine!”

After telling Kenny the whole story, we haven’t notice we arrived school already. it was after class when Miki came up to me and cry out loud…

“Rio!!! You’re such a pervert. You know that?! A pervert!”
“What?!! Pervert what?!”
“You bastard. What the heck happened…you have not kissed him then?! You’re so mean…mean you know that?!” Miki’s crouching my throat.
“What?! Kenny, you’re a mouthed person…!” as I removed Miki’s hand in me.
“Yeah…it was then, romance was in the air…” sighed.
“You two annoys me much. That’s too far now!” I shouted. Then the teacher called up as she peeped on the window,
“Class, who’s the class president here?” So, I raised my hand then stand, “Yes Ma’am?”
“Well then, please choose a seat for your new classmate.” As what she said, everybody screamed with excitement. Wondering who the new entry is.
“Well Ma’am, our new classmate can sit beside me since no one occupies this space…”
“Okay… Now Mr. Sapphire, please come in.” As everybody screamed…

But then, as our new classmate came in…It was him. That stupid bastard. That idiot pathetic light-blue headed guy who gave me a headache. I hated him. But why here?

“Mr. Sapphire, please introduce yourself…”
“Thank you ma’am. I’m Fritz Raine Sapphire. And I’ll make sure that you’ll never get any problem with me. Thank you again and nice meeting you all.”
He smiled. That gave me a little feeling of sarcasm of what everybody feels.

“Mr. Sapphire, you can seat beside the class president, Ms. Freedert. Okay, I’ll leave you now.” as the teacher pointed me then went out.
I wanted to scream, I wanted to vomit that time. I wanted to knock my head down, not thinking about things…he went to my seat but I was facing my back to him. “Hi! May I have this seat or is this seat taken?” that time, I don’t know what to say. I couldn’t just have my anger win me? Everybody will know. So, I calm myself down and took a deep breath.
“Sure, have the seat. Or even take a sit.” I faced him then smiled.
“Umm…if I’m not mistaken, you’re that girl I met a day ago, right? In that time, I was so sorry. If you ever forgive me.” he smiled.
I was disgusted. It was true he paused for a while trying to recognize me, I hated his reactions. But sorry, I wasn’t able to control myself,

“You know what?! I wanted to squeeze your throat, and take your eyes off their pouches. But I can’t do that in front of everybody. Whatever or whatsoever you will do or to say you’re going to do, I don’t care, I’m still not going to forgive you.” I told him quietly while I wanted to burn in hell.

“Really? I can’t stop you from doing such harsh things. If you won’t forgive me, I’ll understand. As long as the burden here inside of me is already taken. I don’t have any responsibility now of asking for your forgiveness. It’s up to you of having such conscience.” he smiled again, as if nothing happened. He was so calm and…And, I was then carried away by my emotions. I was about to punch him. He was too lucky that Miki and Kenny interrupted.
“Heya Rio. Greeted hello to our new classmate? By the way Raine, I’m Miki…” Whenever Miki grins, I know it has something to do with what’s going on her mind.
“Hi Raine… Mine’s Kenny…” Kenny smiled then turns her face on me. “His..Something..”
The two has been acting weird lately.
“Hi, nice meeting you…” He smiled. I can see it in his eyes, he tries to do something. So, I ignored them and I started to stand. Trying to say sorry to Raine, Miki and Kenny followed me up to the canteen doors.
“Hey! Rio, what’s the matter walking out like that?” Kenny questioned curiously as Miki agreed.
“You want to know why?! I’ll tell you why…That guy over there, that stupid bastard guy is the idiot I met….”
“Met a day ago?!…Really?!” Kenny excites as she continued my cut conversation. Miki then stares.
“…Yeah! That stupid pathetic guy who, who, ahhhh! Forget it. It only makes my head and my stomach hurt.” I replied as I noticed Miki places her hand on my cheeks then squeezes.
“Ahhhhh…Stop It! That hurts!” I reacted, trying to escape Miki’s chaotic clutching.
“You…You…You’re so lucky Rio you bastard! I hate you, you’re so lucky with men…ahhhh; you’re really meant for each other.” Miki, as if she was really squeezing me hard.
“Kenny, you can’t just look at me?! Help me out will Yah?!” I was reaching out for help. Kenny then stared.
“…” She replied.
“Gaaaaa….Miki!” I pleaded. Miki then releases me and she was dancing with fain…
“Yeah…talk about it. She was on it again…” Kenny regretted as she tried to say something about Miki’s failure on men.
I was then looking at Kenny and Miki but I was choking. I know they were really weird, but no friends like them are like others in the world.

At Raine’s house, Raine then takes a shower. Phone rings, goes out takes the phone and answers.

“Hello…Who’s this?”
“Fritz, it’s me!” The guy answered as a response.
“Yeah Frytz, It’s you. Why the call?”
“I heard hear-says you left and transferred to another place or what you call that…why all of a sudden?! Ha?!”
“….Ah, Is that it? If you need an answer, you know what my purpose is. I know you know everything…anyway, where are you?” Raine ask while placing his hand on his face.
“I’m in the airport right now in France…”
“What?! Don’t you ever try follow me here….you know what will happen if you do!” Raine suddenly flares up trying to throw the phone out of his hands.
“Huh?! And what? You can’t do anything about it. You know I can’t Bluff…” Frytz answered back trying to ridicule Raine out.
Raine sighed; Put’s the phone down and sits carelessly on the couch. Puts his hand on his hair and sighed another breathe.
“What do they want and tries to send somebody out just to look after me?” then smiles.

After a while…

“Gaaaa….It’s too heavy!” I sighed, trying to put my force on the grocery bags.
“Anyway, I bought my sushi here with me.” I grinned. As I walk along the road, I coincidentally walked along the corridor of the house which was empty before. I wondered,
“Wait a second; no one resides at this house before? Well, now there’s someone on the empty house…” I smiled then notice something on the balcony of the house’s pillars. It was a guy, reading something with dark-blue hair.
“Hey, that guy looks like…” I looked closely, focused to rectify my guesses. As I familiarized the face, I started to flare up. It was Raine, I concluded.
“Guess what?! It was that stupid guy again…But honestly, he lives a wealthy life huh?” I said and ignored. I continued my walking when suddenly someone pops out.
“Hi, Rio…If I’m not mistaken by your name…” Raine smiled.
“Gaaaa…..You freaked me out. Huh? Wait a sec, you were there a while ago and now you’re here? What the…Ahhh, forget it! Let me guess, you were following me all this time right?! What are you doing here you bastard?!”
“Woah-woah…don’t be so rude. I know you’re angry but what makes you so mad?” He smiled.
“What?! Now you’re asking me why I’m mad, you answer you’re question idiot!”
“Oh okay…By the way, what made you stopped by my house so far?”
“Huh?! Well…actually I was on my way home when you sprouted out like a carless reckless mushroom!” I shouted then went on my way.

The next day, it was our cleaning day. I was assigned to be the leader since I’m the president of the class. Miki and Kenny, I should have known were up to something again.

“Kenny, I know this isn’t right but, do you think it would work?” Miki ask as she walks around in circles.
“Miki, I don’t think something will happen out bad? It’s just that we wanted to help work out their friendship okay?” Kenny explains as she watches Miki walk around. Then continued,
“Can you please stop that?! You’re driving me crazy!” Kenny exclaimed.
“Okay-Okay fine…I’ll stop this manner, think about this deeply and ….”
“And? And what?”
“And, I think we should do it ahead now…” Miki answered then walks through the door.
“I know there’s something wrong about you…” As Kenny followed Miki outside.

It was 5:30 in the afternoon when Miki and Kenny went to me. Asking me something…guess what.
“Hey Rio…Wonderful day isn’t it?” Miki greeted.
“Yeah..A day of refreshing and…I can’t say anything…” Kenny mumured.
“You guys are up to something….What is it?” I nodded.
“Ah….nothing really. It was just that our teacher requested us to tell you that you’ll be staying…” Miki answered as she prod kenny with her elbow.
“Yeah-yeah…It was then she requested also that…” Kenny responded.
“Requested also what?” I questioned curiously.
“It was just…don’t react so badly alright?!” Kenny had her move to tell something I don’t want to hear.
“Okay-okay fine…just tell me!”
“…”
“She requested that you and Raine would be staying a longer time here at school to finish the undone work…We went to him a while ago and had told him already about it…He just agreed…” Miki closes her eyes hastily and covers her ears.
“…” I stared then blinks.
Miki and Kenny then blinked also and smiled slowly.
“I think there’s nothing wrong…” Kenny whispered to Miki’s ears. Suddenly, I was raging.
“…I think not!” Miki answered then continued, “I think we grind her down…”
Miki and Kenny were jittery. If you would ever imagine their faces.
“Who would think things such as like this! Specially you guys! I’ll be grounded for the rest of my life trying to be so pathetic! That obscure, obscene idiot?! Then I would be staying with him for 3 hours! Alone! Heck him!” I shouted, screamed then it pissed me.
“…Told yah she would react!” Kenny stealth. Miki then answered..
“Come on now Rio. It was nothing…but a glitch! You’ve reacted too wildly. Don’t be so timid…”
“Timid?! Wildly?! Why shouldn’t I?! Things started to get worst when that wimp showed up!” I was calming down. Kenny and Miki just nodded.
“You can do it!” Kenny answered…
“Shut up! It’s not something to be serious with…” I reacted then went outside to have some air.

Later…It was 6:30 P.M when I reached our room. Miki and Kenny went home already. I hate to do this but how about my side also? It will be too unfair if his the one doing all the job. I went in, I saw him already doing the job. I wanted to stealth to avoid him from detecting me, but I think he was too sophistic. He noticed me, smiled then stood up. I was nervous but never uttered any word. My mind thought, “What am I doing?” so I started to move. But before I was about to say something, he interrupted.

“Hi…” Raine glanced at me then smiled. I was then annoyed, I griped but couldn’t take it any longer.
“Shut up! Do you think I like to stay here with you just to fix the stupid mess?!” I reacted. But, he just smiled then answered,
“You know, you’re pretty…But in this case, I was also forced out. So don’t give me the blame, okay? I know you will just scold me and have that grimace face if you would see me, right?” Raine answered smoothly. He was too calm…too naive and simple.
“What the Heck?! Don’t tell me such things because you just can’t! Do your work I’ll do my job and that’s final!” I started picking up things and arranging them, filing them in cases.
“Okay-okay…fine…” And another smile. Then continued, “But, I’ll come with you later okay?”
“. . .What?! Going home with me?! Idiot! How hardy can you be?! Just shut up and do your job!” I reacted trying to ignore his stupid fudging.

Later…our work is finally done. I decided to fix my things and go home. But then,

“I’m going home!” I nodded, tired and exhausted. I tried to move my foot.
“Okay.” He answered then locks the door.
“Okay?! What’s okay?!” I reacted as I moved further away from him.
“I mean okay, you’re going right? I’ll go with you…” He responded while following me from behind and walks beside me.
“Yeah! as if I’ll let you! You know, Bastards are bastards! Idiots are idiots and you’re one of them!”
“Okay…”
“You’re mimicking right?!” I wanted to thwack him.
“You know Rio, you’re not really mad at me actually…” He said.
“What do you mean not mad?! You’re kidding me right?! Why will I not be?! You’re the one who started up the fight between us…” He just smiled while I uttered words to him. I continued,
“Hey! Are you listening?! You don’t know what you’re talking about!” I reacted. He pisses me off. Suddenly, He started grabbing my hand and was running.
“Hey! What are you doing?! Are you crazy?! Let go of me!” I was panicking as I heard a group of gangsters following us. Raine turned his head on me. He smiled and said,
“Tonight, I’ll be your friend okay?!”
“What the?!”
“Those guys were following us, just keep running don’t lose me okay?” Raine said as if his used to running things or something.
“I can hear them uttering words! But I don’t know what it is, can you?!”
“They want to get you, but I don’t know the purpose…” He answered then turned left and hid on a corner.
Raine panting, placed his hand on my mouth and looked around. Heard some words from the gang and quietly answered me,
“What I really meant was you’re not mad, angry or something. Maybe I just made you feel like irritated or grumpy when you see me, but actually it’s not.” He smiled.
“What’s happening here?!” I thought to myself. I looked around and saw the one’s following us.
“What the?! Aren’t they going yet?! It irritates me a bit…they really want to get you Rio…” Raine said quietly. He smiled.
“Why?! What the heck do they want?!” I said softly as I removed Raine’s hand in my mouth. I really wanted to kick their butts.
“I don’t know…Maybe they were up to something, I can’t get them! But I can’t do anything yet…”
“Yeah right! Well…let me handle this I’ll smash those dump heads!” I answered firmly but softly as I started to move away. But before I was able to move, Raine like he was so sophistic, grabbed my hand and place his soft arms around me.

A moment of silence…a moment of warmth and kindness. It was surprising…that time. I smiled…
But then,

“Rio, stay here and never leave this spot…okay?! I’ll be back!” He said as he places his arms away. As he ran, the gangsters followed him through.

That time, I was unconscious…unconscious in that situation. It was then,
I was relieved and back to my own self that seemed to depart from me.

I started flaring up. I started to think that I was too stupid to allow him doing that.
“What the heck?! I was a moron!” I place my hands in my head. I was like crazy.
Suddenly, Raine came back. Panting.
“Rio, are you alright?!” He checked as he held his breathe, so fresh from running. I remembered,
“You bastard! You stupid dumb bastard! I want to kill you!” I reacted carelessly.
“Woah-woah…what’s the rage all about?” He questioned.
“Rage?! You’re asking me?! What was that a while ago?! A hug?! You think I was stupid that I will not react to it?! And why did you ran away?! You will be in great danger facing those dumb heads alone!” I was so flaring up. He was just too pathetic.

He was silent…He smiled. I was irritated, I wanted to squeeze him.
“Hey! Now you’re silent! Now you can’t speak!”
“Then…Why are you still here?” He answered. I was stunned. I felt something I don’t know what…But it gave me a glint ache in my stomach.
I paused for a while and thought of it. But he was right. He continued,
“You may have ran away when i was chased by those guys you were calling dumb heads right? It was a perfect timing for you to have the chance. But you stayed instead of having that thought…right?” he smiled again. But I reacted,
“You said that I will stay here, you promised also that you’ll be back! I can’t break promises!” I reasoned. He just laughed, amused by what I have said a while ago. He annoys me much,
“What the heck are you laughing at?!”
“That means you are not really mad or angry at me, right?! You still consider me as your friend and not your enemy…” He smiled as he stop laughing.
I was stunned by what he said. I was then, I felt like my mind goes crazy and stuff. Now the ache ran to my heart and to my eyes, I was then crying.
“Wait-wait…There’s nothing wrong with what I said? Don’t cry…” Raine explained as he places out a handkerchief and reaches out to me, but refuses.
“Okay…I admit it. If you haven’t told me yet, I won’t recognize it. And I have my own handkerchief…” I was like a baby, murmuring.
“Why was that?”
“You were always smiling…and it annoys me much!” I told him. He was then amused.
“Fine-fine…Let’s go home already okay? where’s your house by the way? “
He questioned as he grabbed my hand and started to walk.

While walking, I thought to myself. He was not that bad after all. I thought he was a moron but he has a point in every view. An intelligent guy, I may call him that. But I still may not trust him. I may forgive him but I must not trust this guy. Later on,

“We’re here…” I paused as we arrived at my house.
“Oh…so this is your house. It seems to be fine.”
“Heck! Don’t tell me that! Your house is more glamorous than ours.” I reacted.
“You’re alone right now…Am I right?” He questioned.
“Yup! My parents are on duty right now. So I’m left alone here…” I answered.
“Okay…Is that it?” He said while acts to move along.
“Wait Raine, You’re rich right? Where are you’re parents,”
“Okay Rio, I’ll be going now…See you tomorrow.” He interrupted what I was about to say and went running. I was annoyed.
“Bastard! You still have payments to pay Idiot!” I shouted then smiled.

The next day…Things got even worst.

“Hey Rio! What’s up for last night?” Miki poked my shoulder and called Kenny up.
“Yeah Rio! What’s up?” Kenny repeated.
“What ‘last night’ are you talking about?!” I argued.
“You know…About last night! You and Raine, the things you’ve been doing…” Miki joked. I stared at them trying to recall things that happened. Then I realized that,
“You wino! You’ve planned everything! All of what happened! Bastards!” I was so angry…Mad at them.
“We’re dead!” Miki and Kenny said repeatedly as they face backwards. But Kenny reacted,
“Rio, it was for you and for Raine afterwards…It was for you and Raine to get along with each other. We know that you’re mad at him because we know you, but just for that? Forgive him Rio…” Explained and begged.
“For us?! What the?! You don’t even know what happened back there!” I shouted.
“Why?! What happened!” Miki and Kenny suddenly asked.
“We we’re so close! So close!”
“What?! Close?!Why?!” Miki and Kenny as if so curious questioned firmly. I told them the whole story but deep inside me I wanted to knock their heads. Meanwhile, after telling them the whole story, Miki and Kenny were astonished.

“I never knew it will be that romantic…” Kenny sighed as Miki continued.
“Yeah…you were so cute when you’re together…”
“Romantic?! Cute?! What if I kick your butts now?!” I was really disgusted. Miki and Kenny tries to irritate me, went to their seats and still mocks me. I just ignored them.
After a while, there were silence…I sighed. I turned my head to have a short glimpse at him. But he was also looking at me, he smiled. I was stunned. Disgusted for a while. But it was then I thought, as if he knows everything I do. I don’t know why I’m telling this but what can I say? After a while, our teacher came in,
” Okay class, today we will have a group activity by partners.” The teacher thought.
Students began to retort out, well I was one of them.

“Sounds good right? Well, essentially you can’t do anything but to follow. Now, I’ll start partnering you up…”
I just stared and sighed. Not quite thinking about who will be mine.
After all were finished…not all,
“And the last but not the least, Ms. Freedert and Mr. Sapphire.” The teacher blurted out. I was stunned, surprised then disgusted.
“What the heck?! It’s not fair!” I was really pointing out that I also got rights.
“Well…here we go again…” Raine smiled and just nodded.
The teacher just peeped on me and then ignored me. But it was clear that she was grinning. It was really not good. Not good at all…
After the teacher gave our topics and went out of the class, Miki and Kenny went to me, I know they’re going to mock me again but I was surprised,
“We’re sorry Rio, we can’t do anything about that activity thing.” Miki alleged.
“Yeah… we know that it was something you can’t agree with.” Kenny responded.
“Huh? It’s a miracle that you weren’t mocking me today…well, thanks for the condolence anyway…It’s true that I can’t do anything about it!” I just consented.

Days passed, weeks, I just took our activity for granted. I thought to myself, why is that he doesn’t discuss to me about the topic? Is it necessary that I am the one that will open the topic up? That’s an insult! Lately,
“Hey bastard! Since we’re partners, let’s talk about this!” But I was the one who can’t deny about it.
“Sure…where? He questioned.
“Where do you suggest?!”
“Okay let me think, ah yes! In my house, is it okay with you?”
“Stupid! Why at your house?! There’s so many places where to do this activity!”
“So, you mean we’re gonna do the activity at your house?” He confusingly questioned but it was obvious that he tries to clear that out.
I was surprise. Thinking about it for a sec, if I were on his side, he was right.
“Ahh…forget it! Okay, let’s do the activity at your place!” I felt slight dizziness.
“Okay…so when?”
“You know, you’re like a journalist! You really have to ask this W-H questions! Off course, use your common sense! The deadline of the submission will be tomorrow!”
“Yeah right…I forgot about that! Well, see yah this evening…” He just smiled at me. But it did not change my perception through him that he’s a bastard. I went away, trying to forget his silly smiles. After class, I wasn’t yet at my self. I was still thinking about it.

Later at Raine’s house…

I went there. Well, I was forced to do that! But then, when I came in, my perceptions through him changed. It tainted a little bit…it tainted a little bit. He has this large mansion, all for himself?!
“What the heck is this?!” I thought to myself, but then I don’t want him to notice me doing such reactions that he’s glitterati.
“Can we start?! I don’t want to spend my night here!”
“Okay…let’s start.” We readied our materials and started writing.

Later…

“Wait for a sec, I forgot something upstairs. I’ll be right back.” He alleged and started to move.
“Fine…do whatever you want to do!” I blurted out. After that moment, it was then I looked around. I looked around trying to see evidences that will satisfy my confuses. “I don’t know about you, here! Just answer this!” I yawned and handed over the activity sheet. He took it and started answering. I was looking on his writing; I dozed but immediately nodded my head. He stopped. Then I wonder, he asked,
“What is this?” He pointed on my writing, trying to point out that he can’t understand it.
“Huh?! Simple writing you can’t understand?! That’s ‘cultivate’!”
“Okay…well, how about this one?” He pointed another one but he was blocking it. I went near and suddenly, suddenly…
Found myself in his arms. He grabbed me and placed me in his warm arms. Those warm arms… at that moment, I was really stunned. Stunned and surprised. “You still can’t…Aren’t you going to drink something first?” He questioned.
“Huh! And you really think that I would do that! No thanks you bastard! It might have poisons in it!” I walked away. Moved out! “And I never want to go near him again!” I thought to myself.

After a while…at Raine’s house…

“You shouldn’t have done that!” Raine blurted out, trying to tell Drainne the wrong things he committed.
“Huh! You know, even though she’s smart, she didn’t even notice it…”
“In other words, next time don’t go near her anymore.”
“Rio, that’s her name right?”
“Because of what you’ve done, she will surely kill me tomorrow!” Raine, disappointed, moved to the balcony.

“Stop it! Since we’re kids, you’re already doing that! Aren’t you sick of that?!”
“We’re siblings. There’s nothing you can do about it.”
“Why can’t you leave me alone?! Leaving me is the best way…”
“No! It isn’t. You know I need to watch over you! And you know that!”
“Yes…” Raine sighed.
“By the way, starting tomorrow I’ll go to school with you!”
